This is a Beautiful near mint Lenzkirch Wall clock. The serial number is 1,591,297 which dates the clock to 1909. The 14-day striking movement features a more modern striking system than the early examples. Much more user friendly than the count wheel system used on early clocks. This clock features a double gong that is struck with a single large hammer producing a very rich pleasant tone. The finials and the finish on the case are original. The silvered dial is signed by the original retailer G. Bornand. It is in amazing condition for 116 years old. Don't miss the opportunity to add this one to your collection.
