This is an 18th century French Bracket clock with boulle inlay and original bracket. The movement and dial are signed Jolin a' Orleans. Orleans French is about 120 KM southwest of Paris. This clock is in amazing condition considering it is well over 200 years old. I estimate it was made in the late 1700s. The movement is very heavy and just pristine condition. It was just cleaned and oiled and is running perfectly. You will find a hundred 1880s Boulle clocks before you will find another this old. It is not missing any of the boulle inlay. Don't let this one get away. You will not find another this caliber. I would rather not ship this clock. I highly recommend picking it up in person or using a blanket wrap delivery service.
