Description

Very early Lenzkirch 2-Weight Vienna Regulator in an brass & pewter inlaid case. This is serial number 24140 Circa 1855. That would make it 162 years old. It is in remarkable condition to be that old. The case retains the original finish. To restore the case we only cleaned and waxed it with antique wax. The movement was just cleaned and oiled and is running perfectly. This rare early Lenzkirch features hour only strike. It does not strike the half hour. This is only the second 2-weight Lenzkirch I have ever found with the hour only strike. It has all the original wavy glass with no breaks, cracks or chips. The pendulum, hands, weight and wall stabilizers are all original too. It is extremely rare these days to fine a clock this old with the original crown and finials. This clock has been loved and cared for throughout its entire life. Truly an investment grade piece and one of the finest ever made. The case measures 45.5 inches high, 14 wide & 6 1/4 deep. This clock ships from Tennessee. We ship worldwide.
